Let's see what our cast member Justin Chow has to say about Cube Culture!

What is your profession? How long have you been in this job for?
I am a Senior Immigration Officer and have been serving in the Immigration Department for 29 years. Currently, I am responsible for the immigration control of crew and passengers coming to HK by vessels. 
 
Where's your favourite place in the Quarry Bay area?
I usually go to the City Plaza for movies and meals. I have been living in Quarry Bay since 10 years old.

Have you always been interested in performing arts?
I am interested in singing and joined many singing competitions when I was in my 20s. I had joined the singing contest organised by TVB and a renowned entertainment company. After the contest, I had a chance to become a singer but I chose to work in the government eventually.

What drove you to audition for Cube Culture?
I have a classmate in university who knows that I am fond of singing. She strongly recommended me to join the audition. 

What is your most memorable part of this project?
The most memorable of the project is the team spirit among the actors. We are so united and have the common goal of giving the best performance to the audience. I am really moved by their zeal and serious attitude in the rehearsals. 

What’s your biggest challenge?
As this is my first time being in a musical, it is quite challenging for me to overcome stage fright and to remember every movement on stage. It is indeed a thrilling experience. 

If you were to use an animal to describe your character in the office, what would it be?
My character is similar to that of a cat. I can be very gentle but also fierce if somebody infringes my work/life. I love cats and at some point, I had 5 cats!

What’s your favourite musical?
“Cats”. I love the song “Memory” very much and the performers dance very well. I even sang “Memory” in the audition and in my second master’s degree graduation ceremony. The song “Memory” does give me a lot of good memories.
